Has anyone built a pole barn with the hardware from socketsystems.com? Lots of headroom. This seems to be a good method, if you want to have 42" concrete perimeter footings, and attach your poles with the socket brackets. Any opinions? I think the downside is spending all the money on digging and pooring the perimeter footing vs digging a few column-footings.
