ive noticed a lot of canadian guys here, so,can you pull doubles in ontario ? Ball hitch on lead trailer with brakes on both axels,and ball on second trailer,no brakes,but only a 1100# enclosed sled trailer. In Mi I am ok,just a 65' max length law.

My understanding of it is as follows;

It is legal subject to:

-lead trailer MUST be a 'load-nearing' style hitch, i.e, 5th wheel or gooseneck,
-safety chains must be used on both units,
-brakes on both units,
-breakaway safety devices required on both units,
-total length of towed untits less than 41',
-total length from bumper to bumper less than 75'5",
-if total GROSS weight of towed units exceeds 9,900 # Commercial Inspection (safety cert.) is required,
-if total GROSS weight of towed units exceeds 22,00 # CDL is required.

Other than that, "Come on over, the fishing's great."

Best of luck.
