mini-combine
We had this discussion a while ago. I would think there are small combine available over seas. The other option suggested was to purchase an old pull behind unit. These don't require that much Hp and can be had for scrap metal prices. I would look in an area that is a grain belt ND etc. You may need to run add in some small local paper.
New stationary threshers are available for seed work.

mini-combine
There is a guy in Oregon that I ran across while looking for parts for the now defunct (in USA) Suzue line of tractors. While chatting with him, he mentioned that his real interest is importing used mini-harvesting equipment from Japan.
He actually imports small Yanmar (and other Japanese) harvesting equipment for a niche market...mostly sells to universities doing small scale agricultural projects.
Willamette Importing is the company name, Max Webster is the owner. 503-246-2671 I haven't talked to him in a year or so, but assume he is still at it. Nice guy, and real helpful.
