Who really makes them?

The larger Masseys are built in England and I believe some are built in Poland. The compact Masseys, 1250's and such are still built in Japan by Iseki.

Who really makes them?

So far I have not been able to find anyone who has one of the tractors that Northern, or Hardy sell that is close enough to go take a look at. I will be making the rounds of the local dealers this week to see what I can find out on the JD/NH/MF and Kubotas. I've talked with a couple of the big landowners in our hunt and they seem to be buying big Kubotas. When I narrow down my selection I'm sure I'll be back with more questions. Thanks to all for the information. If anyone sees any of the tractors of the Northern/Hardy ilk I'd be interested in what they think of them.
