HI FOLKS,
I HAVE A JD 790 W/LOADER, I REALLY NEED PALLET FORKS FOR THE BUCKET. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS HOW TO INSTALL THEM. I DONT WANT TO HAVE TO REMOVE THE BUCKET EACH TIME. I KNOW THAT THE 4000 SERIES TRACTORS HAVE A QUICK RELEASE, BUT THE 790 IS A LITTLE MORE TRICKY. IT SEEMS THAT THERE SHOULD BE SOMETHING OUT THERE WHICH BOLTS ONTO THE BUCKET. I WONT BE DOING HEAVY LIFTING. I AM DEMOLISHING A FEW SMALLER BUILDINGS AND I WANT TO CARRY THE WASTE TO THE DUMPSTER. THANKS R.L (HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL)

my 790 came with the 419 loader and woods does not intend to make forks for it because the mounting is not an industy standard like the skid steers, however they do still make forks for the old 7 series fel. I have also seen grapple buckets on small tractors but have yet to research manufactures. IF price is factor JD sells small tines for hay and silage that require drilling holes into your bucket.

There bunches of bolt-on and even clip-on forks, and a dealer probably can identify many alternatives.

These types do reduce load capabilities since the weight is carried further forward. Care also has to be taken when lifting a load of rubble high to put it in a dumpster. The bucket in a loader without self-leveling rotates back during lift. A high lift puts the bucket partially over the tractor. Without adjusting the bucket angle, a load can come off the back of the bucket and onto the tractor, or worse the operator.
