 revisisting icynene insulation again

I have another question about insulation. We are building a 2700 sq ft ranch house. Blown in fiberglass with 6mm poly vapor is $5000. Icynene foam insulation will cost $9500. Is it worth the extra $$$? Will I seal up the house so tight, I will then have to buy a $2500 air exchanger? There is an extra $7grand over fiberglass. We will be living in this house for 20-30 years.

I am a licensed builder in Michigan. Icynene is not the product to use. It is an open cell foam you want a closed cell foam as it has about double the r value per inch. I use foam in all my homes and will never go back to pink insulation. Also shop around you can cut that price in about half.

You can cut the price for an air exchanger in half too.
